This Privacy Policy describes how Roman & Mariia - Consultoria, Lda ("GenuFit," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you join the GenuFit waitlist, visit our waitlist landing pages, or receive related emails. The waitlist is available to users worldwide. By signing up, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not join the waitlist.

1. Who we are

GenuFit is operated by Roman & Mariia - Consultoria, Lda, a company registered in Portugal. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the GenuFit waitlist landing experience, waitlist signup forms, and emails we send about early access and product updates. It does not yet cover the full GenuFit application when it launches. We will publish an updated policy before we collect resume or job description content in the product.

3. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Email address when you join the waitlist.
• Marketing attribution such as UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) if present in the page URL when you sign up.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from IP. This may be collected by our hosting and analytics providers when you load our pages or submit the form.
• Cookies and similar technologies when analytics are enabled on our landing pages (for example PostHog hosted in the EU). See section 7 below.
• Unsubscribe preferences when you use the unsubscribe link in our emails.

We do not ask for your resume, cover letter, or job descriptions on the waitlist landing page.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Add you to the GenuFit waitlist and manage your signup.
• Send confirmation and waitlist-related emails, including product updates and nurture messages.
• Measure interest in GenuFit and improve our landing pages and campaigns.
• Comply with law and protect the security and integrity of our services.
• Respond to your requests when you contact support.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these bases:

• Consent for waitlist signup and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent by unsubscribing.
• Contract to provide the waitlist service you request.
• Legitimate interests to understand how our landing pages perform, prevent abuse, and improve our communications, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation where we must retain or disclose data under applicable law.

6. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the waitlist. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services. Providers may include:

• Supabase for waitlist database storage.
• Resend for transactional email delivery.
• Loops for email contact management and campaign events.
• Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
• PostHog (EU hosting when enabled) for analytics.

These providers may process data in countries other than your own.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our landing pages may use cookies or similar technologies when analytics are enabled, to understand page views and form interactions. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit some analytics but should not block waitlist signup.

8. International transfers

Because GenuFit is available worldwide and we use global infrastructure providers, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

9. Retention

We keep waitlist data while you remain subscribed or until we no longer need it for the purposes described here. If you unsubscribe, we stop marketing emails and mark your record accordingly. We may retain limited data as required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

10. Your rights (all users)

You may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your waitlist data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing message.

11. Additional rights (EEA and UK)

Where GDPR applies, you may also have the right to:

• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible.
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Our lead supervisory authority in Portugal is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD): www.cnpd.pt.

12. Other regions

If you live in California or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you may contact support@genufit.app to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children

The waitlist is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a notice on our landing page.
